Happy Pride 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

During Pride month, I’m thinking about those who haven’t come out and may not feel safe to. I think about people who don’t feel represented by their community or who feel that they are misunderstood. I’m thinking about people who are questioning, people who are figuring themselves out, people who are healing, people who are quiet.

Queer people have existed since the dawn of time. We’ve always been around and we will continue to be.

There’s no one right way to be queer. You deserve love and support and care all months of the year, not just in June.

I hope that this month is celebratory and joyful. I hope it brings a sense of community and softness.

I hope you know that you are loved and cherished just the way that you are.
